Clinical Family Therapist registered with the Australian Association of Family Therapy. Services include individual, couple and family therapy, specialising in relationships, parenting, trauma, mental health, anger, grief and bereavement
I have had an extensive history of working in the community services sector in Geelong since 2002 which includes working in emergency relief, women’s services, drug and alcohol services, children’s work, mental health services and individual, couple and family counselling.
I have also been an educator, training people to obtain certificates and diplomas in alcohol and other drugs, mental health and counselling courses.
My Master degree in Family Therapy is an extension of my education that focuses on attachment and development, grief, loss and trauma, supervision and clinical teamwork. Upon achieving this in 2010, I began working as a private practitioner.
Family Therapists are trained to work with individuals, couples and families. They support people through all of life’s challenges. Family therapy is a branch of psychotherapy that works in a non-blaming way and takes into account previous experiences, family histories, social networks and the impact of the broader community when tailoring therapy to meet the needs of each person.

Why choose me
- You want sessions uniquely tailored to suit you.
Not everyone’s issue will fit neatly into a category or can be treated in the same way. One size does not fit all. I can use the most suitable therapeutic techniques for you, combining, adapting and integrating them to help you get the results you want.
- Peace of mind.
I am a highly trained and experienced.
- Professional and ethical.
I only work with those I am quite confident I can help, otherwise I will make every effort to offer a more suitable referral elsewhere.
- Warm and approachable.
I hope you will find me friendly and down to earth.
- You want flexible appointment times.
I can offer weekday, evening, and Saturday morning appointments. I’m available to see clients from 8.30am until 9pm. Hours like these are practically unheard of among therapists. This means you don’t have to take time off work and it just makes it easier to fit your appointments around your life and other commitments.
- Home visits are an available option.
I offer home visits to people with young children without access to childcare or people where mobility may be a barrier.
- Quick and flexible scheduling options.
You can call me, email an inquiry, or book you appointment directly using my online calendar.I also endeavor to keep a couple of “squeeze in” appointments available each week so most new clients can have an appointment the very same week they contact me.
So, if you are looking to start counselling this week, do not hesitate to contact me!
